Cookie Policy
Last updated: 6 November 2026
This policy explains cookies and similar browser technologies on the MUBİ English Apps website. See the Privacy Policy for information about data processing in the mobile apps.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites can store in your browser. Local storage and session storage are similar browser technologies.
Use on this website
Your cookie choice is stored for 180 days in a local browser entry named mubi_cookie_consent_v1. It contains your analytics choice and its expiry date. Language selection uses the URL; slider positions stay in page memory.
Analytics and advertising cookies
Google Analytics 4 / Firebase Analytics (G-459J7LLMKJ) loads only after you explicitly allow analytics. Google may process page visits, browser and device details and usage statistics, including on servers abroad. Rejecting analytics prevents the analytics code from loading. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled. Ads in the mobile apps are separate from this website.
Hosting and external services
Hosting and security services used to deliver the site may use their own technical records or cookies for access or secure sessions. Names and retention periods at this layer depend on the provider; this policy does not present an unverified inventory. You can inspect current entries in your browser’s site data settings.
Fonts load from Google Fonts. The site may contact an app catalogue hosted on GitHub Pages to retrieve store links. These requests may send the IP address and technical request details needed for the connection to the relevant provider. Opening Instagram, Google Play or App Store links takes you to services with their own cookie and privacy rules. Instagram content is not loaded as an embedded widget.
How can I manage cookies?
Use Cookie preferences at the bottom of any page to enable analytics or withdraw consent. Withdrawal stops new measurement and removes accessible _ga cookies on this domain. It does not automatically delete data already sent to Google. Your browser’s site data settings also let you remove cookies and Firebase technical entries in IndexedDB. Continuing to use the site does not count as consent.
Contact and updates
For questions about cookies, contact @mubi.ingilizce on Instagram. This page and its update date will be revised when the technologies in use change.
